Join us for a time of unity as we creatively spend time with God through Holy Spirit led painting.
What to expect?
Our goal is to devotionally and creatively explore God’s Immanuel nature. Immanuel means “God with us” this notion allows the painter to partner with God in a creative and worshipful experience. Our team will facilitate this fun and creative devotional process among participants by helping them spend time with God. Together we will be creating a safe space where the focus is the process of creating communion rather than an end product. We will do so by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead as we openly journey with God in painting through biblical themes, promptings, and/or a scriptural focus.
After our devotional painting, we will have a time of sharing our paintings with the group. The group will then have a time of encouraging(prophetic) prayer from the shared paintings.
Remember this is a safe environment, and we will be sharing out of place of encouragement and building up one another in Christ’s love. Our words are important and as we share it is important to know and express Jesus’ heart for his people. Therefore, we will NOT be critiquing one another, but in a safe environment, each artist will have a time to receive from the group what God is speaking and revealing to them about the artist’s masterpiece.
After the prayer segment, each artist has the option to share their process if they choose to or simply thank the group for their words at the end of their turn.
